About the Author

Paulus Leonardus Looijestijn, born on June 30, 1950, in Wassenaar, is a dedicated researcher in the field of visual perception and rehabilitation. In 2004, he earned his doctorate at the University of Groningen with his dissertation The Visual Profile. His work combines insights from psychology, pedagogy, and sociology to improve the quality of life for visually impaired youth.
